Hey there,

We are Emrys & Niall AKA ‘Hoot Weddings’!  We are 2 friends from Sheffield, South Yorkshire who work as a photo & video tandem to capture your wedding day in all its glory.

From the early morning tipple, to the throwing of shapes on the dance floor late into the night,  we will seamlessly blend into the background as two friendly faces collecting the moments of laugher, fun, unplanned madness, beauty, & joy which encapsulate a wedding day, for you to re-live in the years & decades to come. 

In our opinion, you have one job as a couple, which is to have the best & most beautiful f***ing day EVER, enjoying the shenanigans you’ve tirelessly planned over the previous years and months.

At our foundations we fundamentally believe in a hands-off approach to documenting your wedding, while also appreciating a hint of editorial flair which can just add that bit of ‘holy shit we look so good’ factor when you view your final images & video.

If the day has ended and you and your guests have hardly noticed us because they’ve had such an awesome time, drinking, laughing and dancing their arse off, then we’ve done our job properly. But what really makes the best weddings for us, is leaving with the mutual feeling of ‘You know what, we could be friends’.

Emrys is absolutely amazing at what he does! After chatting to him at a wedding fair last year, we knew he was the guy we wanted! Emrys makes you feel totally at ease with the camera and is such a genuinely lovely bloke to get on with! He went above and beyond, attended two different days and took the most gorgeous photos. Friendly with everyone, he made us all feel so comfortable and relaxed. Booked Emrys for our wedding in April. He has been nothing but professional throughout. From our first telephone conversation we knew he was our style of photographer—he captures amazing moments I don’t think I’d have ever seen at my own wedding!
